1. Background
The MULVADO software as provided here under the terms and conditions of this LICENSE, has been developed within a research project NPC 5393 with the title: "Evaluation of DOSY data by advanced chemometric methods" at Radboud University Nijmegen, the Netherlands. More information you can find in the under article 4 mentioned publications or you can contact the Licensor. Research project NPC 5393, has been financed by Technology Foundation STW. Certain results have been made available in this open source license to make further research in a broader public possible.

2. Definitions:

DERIVATIVE: materials or products that are physically derived from the Original Software or that wholly or partially contain or incorporate the Original Software

ORIGINAL SOFTWARE: software resulting from the Research Project NPC 5393 as first distributed Februari 1st, 2005 by Licensor

PURPOSE: research purposes (non commercial)

3. License conditions:

Licensor hereby grants You a world-wide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, license for the Purposes which allows you to do the following:

to copy and modify the copies of the Original Software or its Derivatives worldwide, free of charge

to prepare derivative works ("Derivative Works") based upon the Original Work;

to distribute copies of the Original Work and Derivative Works to the public, only after having informed the author of the Original Software by e-mail (e-mail-adres) of a modification, with the provision that copies of Original Work or Derivative Works that You distribute shall be licensed under the same terms and conditions of this open software license

to ensure that any copy or Derivative Works shall show the following copyright notice : Copyright © 2005 Huo, Wehrens and Buydens.

You cannot use the software for commercial purposes, any commercial use needs the prior written approval of Licensor.

4.Publications In case you wish to publish a scientific article wherein you mention the Original Software you must mention the author of this Original Software. In your publication you may refer to the following publications:

5. Short Description With the Original Software a user manual is provided. This manual is a short description of the Original Software. It is in no way intended as complete user instruction.

6. LIABILITY & WARRANTY BECAUSE THE ORIGINAL SOFTWARE IS LICENSED FREE OF CHARGE, THERE IS NO WARRANTY FOR THE ORIGINAL SOFTWARE OR THE USER MANUAL, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE DUTCH LAW. EXCEPT WHEN OTHERWISE STATED IN WRITING. LICENSOR AND/OR THE COPYRIGHT HOLDERS PROVIDE THE SOFTWARE "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. 7. Acceptance by exercising any right By exercising any of the rights granted to You in this agreement, You indicate Your acceptance of this License and all of its terms and conditions. This License shall terminate immediately and you may no longer exercise any of the rights granted to You by this License upon Your failure to honour the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
